Thank you to Palliative Care WA and WA Primary Health Alliance for selecting our centre to become a community hub for information and support with end of life planning. Thanks also to Linkwest for making these opportunities available for us.
Linkwest member Centres are safe and trusted in their communities and that is why we are collaborating with Palliative Care WA and WA Primary Health Alliance to support a number of member Centres to become community hubs for information and support with end of life planning.
Today is Dying to Know Day. Events will be taking place all across the country to encourage conversations about death and dying. This years theme of ‘One size does not fit all’ prompts us all to think about what our own individual wishes are for our end of life, and invites us all to have a conversation with those around us to share our wishes and make them known in advance.
Look out for stories from the Linkwest End of Life Planning Project over the coming months and think about the activities and conversations your Centre can lead to support the Dying to Know Day message throughout the year.
